-The name ‘Miley’ came to be because she was nicknamed ‘Smiley’ because she smiled so much as a baby. ‘Smiley’ was eventually shortened to ‘Miley’.

-Miley’s half-brother Trace Cyrus is in the band Metro Station and dated Demi Lovato.

-The main character’s name in Hannah Montana was originally Zoe Stewart but was changed to Miley Stewart when Miley won the role.

-Miley picked the name ‘Ronnie’ for her character in the movie The Last Song in honor of her grandfather Ron Cyrus.
