Miley Cyrus’ career is more important to her than a relationship.
The 17-year-old singer-and-actress – who has reportedly reunited with former flame Liam Hemsworth after a brief split in August – isn’t thinking about settling down yet because she is so ambitious.
Miley – whose parents are country singer Billy Ray Cyrus and Leticia Cyrus – said: “I definitely don’t want people to think I’m trying to get married anytime soon. I’m way too driven right now, first of all, I’m 17, it’s ridiculous, and second of all, I’ve got so much work I want to get done. I have so much to do, there’s no way it’s happening.
“I don’t need any type of commitment. I’m not living with anybody. I live at home, I still live with my mom, dad and family.”
The ‘Climb’ hitmaker also revealed she doesn’t feel ready for a big romantic commitment because she wants to experience life and make some mistakes first.
She explained in a video posted on YouTube.com: “I’m not engaged, I’m not getting married anytime soon. I don’t need to do anything but sit and chill and enjoy life, and make good music – music that I love – and that’s the most important thing.
“I’m just living life and learning and going through what everyone has to go through. I’m just figuring out who I am and that is going to be through mistakes and experience

1. MILEY CYRUS
She started out as Hannah Montana… but it seems that little ol’ Miley Cyrus is growing up faster than we all expected. Her new album name of “Can’t be Tamed” is proving true with raunchier outfits, a couple of boyfriends along the way and the end of her Disney side.

New music from Disney’s “Hannah Montana,” the global smash hit TV series that became the biggest, fastest success the pop album charts have seen in years — with #1 soundtracks and combined sales of over 12 million CDs to-date — will be available in the fourth season soundtrack Hannah Montana Forever — featuring actress and pop superstar Miley Cyrus collaborating with Iyaz, Sheryl Crow and Billy Ray Cyrus. The album will be available in stores and at online retailers October 19 on Walt Disney Records.
The Hannah Montana Forever soundtrack will have its broadcast debut on Radio Disney’s Planet Premiere feature with host Ernie D on Sunday, October 17 (7:00 p.m., ET/ 4:00 p.m., PT) with a rebroadcast on Monday, October 18 (12:00 p.m., ET/ 9:00 a.m., PT). Two tracks, “Are You Ready” and “Ordinary Girl,” have already hit the Top 5 on Radio Disney’s Top 30 Countdown this summer. Fans can also sneak preview the album online at RadioDisney.com for a limited time, beginning October 16.
The album covers much musical ground, from intimate ballads to straight-up high-voltage pop. “Gonna Get This” is a synth-laden pop duet between Miley and the Caribbean-based singer Iyaz, while the harmony-rich “Need a Little Love” pairs Miley with legendary singer-songwriter Sheryl Crow. Miley and her father, Billy Ray Cyrus, sing together the ballad “Love That Lets Go,” a fitting tribute to their close relationship, both on screen and off. The sentiment continues on “Been Here All Along” and the wistful farewell, “I’ll Always Remember You.” But the album kicks into high gear with upbeat rockers like “Kiss It Goodbye,” “I’m Still Good,” and the club anthem “Are You Ready.” The soulful “Ordinary Girl,” “Que Sera” and the explosive pop of “Barefoot Cinderella” round out the album’s 11 tracks.
The accomplished songwriters who contributed to the soundtrack include: Toby Gad (Beyonce, Fergie, Alicia Keys), “Glee’s” Adam Anders (“Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam,” “Hannah Montana The Movie,” “High School Musical 3: Senior Year”), Jamie Houston (“Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam,” “High School Musical,” Miley Cyrus, Sheryl Crow, Kid Rock), Mitch Allan (produced and co-wrote with Jessi Alexander “I’ll Always Remember You,” Chris Daughtry, Faith Hill, “Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam,” “StarStruck”), Jessi Alexander (“The Climb,” Toby Keith, Trisha Yearwood), Joacim Persson and Niclas Molinder (“JONAS L.A.,” “Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam,” “Cheetah Girls One World,” Charice, Ashley Tisdale) and with songs featured in all four “Hannah” seasons, Jeannie Lurie (“Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam,” “StarStruck”).
Songs included on Hannah Montana Forever are:
“Gonna Get This” featuring Iyaz
“Que Sera”
“Ordinary Girl”
“Kiss It Goodbye”
“I’ll Always Remember You”
“Need a Little Love” featuring Sheryl Crow
“Are You Ready”
“Love That Lets Go” featuring Billy Ray Cyrus
“I’m Still Good”
“Been Here All Along”
“Barefoot Cinderella”
The hit Disney Channel series “Hannah Montana” is a global triumph, reaching over 266 million unduplicated viewers worldwide, in over 150 countries and in 30 different languages. Delivering at record levels after more than four years on TV, “Hannah Montana” has grown its audience in each of its four years on air, with its fourth season pacing at record levels in Total Viewers (5.4 million), Kids 6-11 (2.1 million) and Tweens 9-14 (2.0 million).
Cyrus is the youngest ever recording artist with four #1 albums in less than three years. Her solo albums on Hollywood Records include the #1 debut album Breakout, Time of Our Lives EP featuring the smash hit single “Party in the USA,” and her most recent release Can’t Be Tamed. She is currently filming the independent feature “LOL” opposite Demi Moore.
The “Hannah Montana Forever” soundtrack can be pre-ordered at Disney.com/hannahfanwall. For more information on Walt Disney Records’ releases, please visit DisneyRecords.com, become a fan at Facebook.com/disneymusic or follow us at Twitter.com/disneymusic.

Consumers encouraged to vote on special videos to determine who will get winning spot on Times Square billboard
September 23, 2010 08:03 AM Eastern Daylight Time
DUARTE, Calif.–(EON: Enhanced Online News)–Nearly 800 women in the United States will be diagnosed with a breast or gynecological cancer today. More than 290,000 will be diagnosed and more than 67,000 will die from a women’s cancer this year.
“Women’s cancers attack the body and spirit, undermining women’s self-image and confidence”
City of Hope, one of the nation’s leading research, treatment and education centers for cancer and other life-threatening diseases, knows that fighting one women’s cancer at a time is not enough. The institution’s multidisciplinary Women’s Cancers Program, led by expert researchers and physicians, is working to advance scientific understanding of breast and gynecological cancers, improve screening and treatments and help women everywhere live longer, healthier lives. The nationally recognized experts behind City of Hope’s Women’s Cancers Program are “all in” for a future without women’s cancers.
Starting today, City of Hope’s Women’s Cancers Program will kick off a week-long, consumer-driven initiative to support research and raise awareness for cancers unique to women. “All In Week,” which runs September 23 to October 1, will enable consumers to show their support during National Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month and National Breast Cancer Awareness Month through a range of media platforms and benefit events. Actress and multi-platinum recording artist Miley Cyrus and her mother, Tish Cyrus, are also lending their support and going “all in” to help find a cure for women’s cancers.
Online influencers, bloggers and networks are showing their support by creating 15-second videos explaining why they are “all in” with City of Hope’s lifesaving mission. From now through October 1, these videos can be viewed on the Women’s Cancers web page at http://womenscancers.cityofhope.org/ and marked as “like.” The video with the most “likes” will be shown on a Times Square billboard in New York, October 11-15. The web page also offers important educational information about women’s cancers risk factors and symptoms, the latest cancer screening recommendations, cancer-fighting “super-foods” and other key tips and facts every woman should know.
In addition to viewing and “liking” these videos, supporters can show they are “all in” for women’s cancers cures in a number of simple, easy ways during “All In Week,” and beyond:
Visit City of Hope’s Women’s Cancers Program web page at http://womenscancers.cityofhope.org/ to learn more about these cancers and to view and “like” their favorite “All In” videos
Donate $5 on the go by texting HERHOPE to 90999 (message and data rates may apply)
Spread the word in their online social circles by joining City of Hope’s Facebook page or participating in the Twitter conversation with @CityofHope
City of Hope supporters can also show that they are “all in” away from their keyboards and help raise funds for research into women’s cancers by participating in one of several Walk for Hope events in cities nationwide. City of Hope’s Walk for Hope is the nation’s only series of walks that directly benefits research, treatment and education for cancers unique to women.
Researchers in the Women’s Cancers Program are keeping City of Hope at the forefront of discovery to ensure patients benefit from new and improved treatments. Scientists are pursuing novel research into new diagnostic and therapeutic options, prevention efforts and ways to improve quality of life. In addition to lifestyle and genetic risks, City of Hope researchers are investigating cancer-fighting properties found naturally in “super-foods,” such as blueberries and pomegranates, to aid in prevention. Researchers also aim to understand the challenges experienced by women undergoing treatment for breast and gynecological cancers to improve treatment-related complications for survivors.
“Women’s cancers attack the body and spirit, undermining women’s self-image and confidence,” said Joanne Mortimer, M.D., director of City of Hope’s Women’s Cancers Program. “The Women’s Cancers Program is ‘all in,’ fully dedicated to curing and healing the whole woman by developing therapies that increase survival and improve quality of life, not only for our patients at City of Hope, but for women nationwide with breast and gynecological cancers.”
“No one facing cancer should feel alone. We’re all in this together to support each other through research, through treatment, or through an inspiring video,” said Steve Martin, associate vice president of marketing at City of Hope. “‘All In Week’ encourages everyone who’s been touched by women’s cancers, whether personally or through a loved one, to come together in a show of support and help us move toward a future without cancer for women.”

It’s official! The Last Song can’t be sung on the relationship known as “Milesworth” — aka the on-again, off-again romance between Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth. The recently reunited couple was spotted cuddling at the posh sushi restaurant, Katsuya, in Brentwood, Calif Sept. 16 — and one onlooker says they couldn’t keep their hands off each other!
“Miley and Liam looked so in love as they cuddled up on the couch in the Dragon Room. The couple clearly had lots to catch up on after their 2 week break!” a patron at the restaurant tells HollywoodlIfe.com of the hot date.
“Miley seems to have a sweet tooth – both for desert and her boy, she indulged in milk and cookies between whispering sweet nothings in Liam’s ear!”
Miley, 17, and Liam, 20 — who first started dating while they were shooting the movie, The Last Song, summer 2009 — recently broke up for a few weeks over the summer…but from the looks of it, they are back on and officially in love!
